Kreem Blue Shield... So far So Good!

Hey all,

As for those following my project, I applied this product to the inside of my Kerker header before starting her up.

Since then, I have been finalizing the tuning process where chrome header discolorations occur the first couple of hours or so of running. As can be reviewed in the attached image set, so far still shiny, no discoloration what so ever....

Not bad for $30 investment...

OMR, Glad for you.Todays fuels generally exit hotter than leaded did, single walled chrome headers will blue in seconds. I tried painting the insides of my 71 TR6c's w/ white ceramic, & even w/ good EGA #'s blued in minutes,G

Looks good, let's see how it looks when you're hanging at stop lights this summer in the 120 degree heat. Haaaaa
I like those collars on the exhaust by the way. Where did you score those?

Thanks for the tip omr. I can't believe you didn't polish those collars. I polished mine and they shine like chrome.

The exhaust collars look to me like the ones on my 82 GPZ1100 B2 except mine are black. Ask Jeff at Z1 if he can get you some.

Austin... Shut up damn it or I'll throw dust on that purdy bike of yours when we meet.... hahahahahaha

I picked mine up at Red-line cycles... I needed the half collars as well. Z1 Ent (Jeff) also sells these exhaust collars under the KZ1000 section Exhaust...

Tony, like I don't have enough crap on this bike to polish....

Honestly, I just didn't think about it... Now you've made me think about it and have to remove it all to buff it out... and just when I was starting to like you....

Tony,
The collars look great, but don't you think that taking the engine apart to polish the cam chain, primary chain, and connecting rods might be a little extreme? :P
