MCN tested a bunch of these devices not long ago and did not find a single one that actually worked. Here in Texas all a person has to do is call the releveant highway department (city or county) and carefully describe where the problem is (intersection, street, direction etc.) and the department will come out and reset the sensitivity of the traffic detector. As I recall, blowing the light here, no matter how many cycles one sits through, is illegal.
