That first Z1 Pro stock RC Engineering cycle that was campaigned by Vance and Hines duo in the mid 70's is owned by Mark Skehan and nowadays resides in an office as an ornament in Australia. I have pics of it when Mark purchased it and brought it over to Heathcote Park Raceway in Victoria for its maiden runs this side of the pond, plus pics of the clone of it he built with a redish/orange and black paint scheme and will post as soon as i can get access to my account on photobucket as it does'nt seem to want to recognise my password no more.

Another thing that comes to mind is that recent times he thought that Vance/Hines would maybe want to purchase it back for historical reasons only to be told [No Thanks]

Their Kaw pro Stock had titanium rods in it. Don't know if it did when they sold it. Miles would know.

Cant say about what rods it had in it but can verify that the clone run the same numbers as the original cycle plus i recall tha mark used to reel off runs identical to what Terry did on your side, apparently 3-4 of them were waiting for it at the end of the strip then Terry finished his last run and got off and they took delivery from there.

 Well finally got into my account on photobucket. this is Mark on the clone and you'll have to wait a spell as the pics of the RC Pro/Stocker are either on discs or on one of my nine puters or in between book pages of magazines so will take a day or so to locate.

This thread reminded me that I have a big V&H poster somewhere of the GS. I don't remember the year, but it was after his 13th championship (if I remember correctly).
V&H started on a Kaw, didn't they?
