possible kz purchase
11 Jan 2009 11:18 - 11 Jan 2009 11:19
A buddy of mine has decided that he is finally gonna get himself a kz. We have been searching for a nice 900/1000 for aroun $2000. We finally found one, and it is about 400 miles from home. Overall, it looks to be a pretty good looking bike. Except the owner got a little more creative with the paint than what i would like. The color he chose to paint the bike is not bad, but the frame could have stayed black, and the motor definately could have stayed unpainted or black. This is not a powdercoat or high temp paint used either. Stripping the motor of its paint will definately be in order. I just thought i would share a picture of the bike with you, and see what everyone else thinks. It comes with a spare motor w/10.5:1 comp. pistons, a gasket set, dyna ignition, and everything that was removed from this bike. Is it worth $2000

Thats the color i am doing my z1 in, but im for sure not gonna do the frame and motor and side stand in the green though............Blah....lol. The frame and swing arm will be glossy black. I say 2 grand is a decent price, but i would see if he would come down a bit. Keep us updated.
