Those cool vests look very neat.

I wear boots, gloves, full-face and either my leather or my new JR Phoenix summer jacket.
I used to wear hiking boots until I broke my leg. Doctors said the tibia/fibia break is the most common emergency room MC accident.

I'm one of the t shirt guys, I consider it more incentive not to eat pavement.
I know it would not be any fun if it was easy, but does it have to be this much fun?

I wear a one piece leather race suit everytime I ride. What makes it bearable is that I wear an under armour type t-shirt and shorts underneath. Sure, it is a little warm when sitting still, but when I am moving, the air pulls the sweat through the material and keeps me cool. Drink lots of water too.

Always a full face, always over the ankle boots, jeans and in cool weather (In Vermont?) a First Gear Kilimanjaro Textile Jacket and in warm weather (every third Tuesday of the fourth month that falls after the Vernal Equinox) an Icon armored mesh, gloves and "cool man shades". As the man who first got me interested in riding would say "Dress for the crash, not the ride".

I always wear a leather mesh jacket, leather gloves. My jacket and gloves are over 20 yrs old though and I looked at new mesh jackets from Joe Rocket ect and don't like them.
If you've ever rolled down the interstate at 75mph on your back you'll greatly appreciate having leather definately :) The one and only time this happened to me I was glad however I didn't have leather pants on, and sliding down the road at speed will peal the gloves right off your hands, so be ready for painfull burns on the hands even with gloves, and without leather pants, you'll be in pain for a long while.
321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.

Right now the Alter Ego is in mesh mode! :D

Rode out to the farm this noon and as long as I was moving it was quite comfortable. A few minutes stopped and I couldn't wait to get the stuff off. I rode in about 7 PM and it was cool in the countryside but here in town it was like an oven going up the highway to the gas station.

My biggest issue was getting comfortable on the seat. After doing some work around the farm it seemed as though things were bunching up and not spreading out. Most uncomfortable. :(

I am a tshirt and jeans rider. On the highway I wear a long sleeved shirt to keep from getting sunburned, and my leather flying helmet. I ride careful and being an old f@rt, 64, if I ever hit the pavement I would just shatter. Been riding for over 50 years.....chris3
