Three time loser here, and I'll tell you that the single life has a whole lot going for it. Dump her fast and wait till the right one comes along.

I confered with my buddy Buzzy , And he said to tell you , Get rid of her or tell her its a package deal you and your hobbie or take a walk, he said she sounds a lot like the Queen in his old hive bossing around the workers and she wasn't worth the settlings in the bottom of his glass!

I would have to say dump her. But since you actually have to ask the question of bike or girl there must be something you really like about her. So instead convince her to go for a ride with you. Tell her if she rides with you and still doesn't want you to restore it then you won't (which is a blatant lie of course, if she still doesn't want you to then definitely dump her.) But maybe if she can see what you see in it then she will come around. try relating it back to something personal of hers in a nice metaphorical way. Something that she does or loves that could be considered selfish. If all else fails then ditch her. You can't give up the bike though. It won't cheat on you, won't tell you what to do, and doesn't want to cuddle after you ride it hard. :)

Well, it is just the beginning...first it is "the bike is stupid" then pretty soon "it's the bike or me" then you'll be bikeless, then she leaves you because she's still unhappy with you (ultimately it is herself she is unhappy with)...and you'll be standing there w/out girlfriend/wife or the bike...she moves on and your life is changed forever...I speak from a position of strength:)

It is a difficult decision and I fully expect your heart or gonads to make a poor choice...but that's okay...there are other bikes and other partners out there...I'm on my third wife...but I'm getting better at recognizing humans (the first two were humanoid but were hatched, not born).
