Hmmm... the guy who designed that Honda must have liked the Norton Commando... lots of Norton cues in the styling. Also, that looks like an oil cooler and not a radiator. I would be surprised if anyone brought out an air cooled (or oil cooled) bike in 2009.

It is air cooled. It has a cut away between #2 and #3 cylinders that allows air to pass through for better cooling. I am going to the huge motorcycle show in Toronto this weekend. Hopefully they will have one there. I will take some pics if they do. There is a big vintage section there as well as used bikes for sale so I will be happy either way.

I like it except for the ugly wheels. How about some spoke wheels? Now that would look great.

Yea, I was bummed when they dropped the ZRX. It was a good seller too. I guess the Z1000 is as close as we'll get to a standard but it's too different for me. Now here's one I'd like to see stateside:

I don't have a lot of faith in Mother Kaw...they have really bought into the V-twin thing...dumped the ZRX and the ZR7

While i would like it, i doubt that it would go over. they all tryed it and then they fade them out with poor sales. ie, w650, ZRX, Nighthawk, zr-7, that big suzi standard, zephyrs,
the naked bikes seem to do good, like the Bandits, FZ1/6, 919 or whatever they are at now. but the retro stuff, look pretty and we can drool over there pictures, because they look like what we ride and are brand new, but it is hard to cut a check for something that is technologically about the same as what we have, but cost 10 times as much. now i may be simplifing it a bit, but i would be suprised to see those in the states, if i do, i doubt if it would be more than for a couple of years.
but then again unpopular bikes do seem to congregate in my garage, zr-7 are getting real cheap, especially if they fall over once
bring em over! i'll buy one...in ten years...
