check the compression while your at it, make sure you hold the throttle wide open.

maby even clean the carbs while your at it, thru the tank cleaner really doesnt work unless you use it all the time.

Hi , go back to the advance mechanisim. disasemble clean and be sure its working freely and is lubricated well.( never seize works great on the pins) replace springs if any doubt about their condition. aside from carbs needing cleanibg this is the one thing that needs attention after sitting for long periods of time. sounds like your carbs are probably working ok so i would make sure the advance was as well. good luck , take care...jonnybiker
