Had a friend of mine do a little experiment with his E-bay account
The reserve on that bike is $3700
No way !
Im not sure if its the pictures or the bike but the bike looks like it was either sitting in a garage where they painted something and its got a lot of overspray on it or ... it sat outside in the rain a few times during a frost and the engine is pitted now...... Someone should E-mail him and ask him for the vin

I was friendly, just trying to be helpful. I said that the bike looks more like a Standard, and that you could tell by the Frame Number (KZ900B- vs. Z1F-).
Maybe he'll respond?

seems like an awful lot of effort in proving this is not an "LTD" is anyone here even seriously thinking about buying it? jeez the guy probally does'nt know shit about bikes an is just like tons of others who would look at the LTD emblems and think/believe its an LTD,i have been playing with old kz's for almost 20yrs i still dont know what makes sum LTD's or z1A'a or B's and i really dont care, unless i was buying what i thought was an ultra "mint" bike i would'nt/could'nt care less,

Not much effort to email the seller.
I think you're right, probably just a guy that doesn't know much about bikes... probably not the original owner. I don't plan to bid on it, but I gave him info on how to identify the model. He can use it if the wants to, or not.

Yea, I'd bet anything he's not the original owner. These type of things usually mean possibly one owner up until a month ago when this guy that knows nothing about motorcycles bought it for $700, throws it on ebay hoping to make $3000 quick. To me it's not worth $700 even.
321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.

If you check the add it should reflect that now.
He's selling it for a friend.

1974 900 Z1 modified to look like a LTD , some engine mods. But I still have all the original parts.
1977 1000 project bike
1972 H1 project bike
If pro is opposite of con, then what is the opposite of progress?

That's because he's changed the listing. All it took was a few people to contact him and tell him in a nice way that the bike is a nice KZ but not a REAL LTD;)
I've found not everyone lists things wrong trying to rip you off. Some people just don't honestly know!
