Wow! It actually sold!

Some guy in the UK bought it. Of course, over there, US$150 is like what...five quid these days? :pinch:

i just put this one on my watch list to see if someone buys it.
i never thought of selling the oe tool kits.
i get them in bikes all the time and i usually just give them to a friend or something. most of the time they are not complete so it's no big deal.
go figure?

Maybe time to cash in, Steve. ;)

???!!!! US$150 for a KZ1000 tool kit ??? On a BIN ???
I don't care if it's original or not....that's just silly. You can order the replacement kit for something like $50 or $60. Who's to know whether it's original or not?? Yes, there are probably some subtle differences between the two but, really.....;)
KZ650C2 Stock/mint. Goes by "Ace".
H2A Built from a genuine basket case. Yes,it's a hot rod.
GT550A Stock/mint. Pleasant stroker.
2006 Bandit 1200S for easy LD rapid transit
Various H2 projects in the wings.

Like the saying goes....

"Its only worth what someone is willing to pay for it" & "There's a sucker born every minute".

Reminds me of 2 storys....

1st.... a few years ago when digital camera media cards were high and the biggest you could get was 128 megs. Best Buy had a sale on them for $19. Retail was $59 at the time. People bought htem up, listed them on Ebay for a Buy It Now for $40 and cleaned house.

2nd.... When your family screws you its worse :(
My 1st appartment I needed a Sofa for my living room. My Aunt was moving and was getting rid of her sofa she had in her Den. She wanted $400 for it. My Ma pushed me into getting it. Mom kept saying "Its leather, your aunt always buys nothing but the best and she payed over $1000 for it". ( Back in 1986) I didnt want leather for nothing but I bought it for the $400 anyway. Carried it home and when I was putting it down I flipped it over and it had a tag under the frame that said " $299 ". She bought it from some generic furniture place at the time. Ya never know......
