Just found my photos of Eddie at Laguna Seca in 88. Problem is they are not full frame or clean. That was a getto trip on a whim. We conned/begged our way into camp.

I wish I had some way to dump the images in my head onto the computer. I used to go to the Poconos superbike races. The image I recall so vivedly is of Lawson (while leading the race) going into turn 1 too hot and making a split second decision to swing off the track to the left (sort of a runoff lane) to avoid hitting the haybales. He then turned the bike around, got back in the race, and even though most of the field had passed him he moved up to 2nd by the next lap and won the race first ahead of the likes of "fast" Freddie Spencer, etc. Man, that guy could ride!!
