Here's my first shot at it.. I think the footage turned out pretty nicely.. I like how it vibrates slightly when I'm accelerating. Kind of a neat effect
Hopefully the weather will be decent on my trip down to NY next week, and I'll be able to put a nice little piece together.
(Right click, save as..)
I mounted a bracket on the mirror post (mirror through the bracket, holding it on), so it's just to the right of my gauges. The song is Wolfmother - Woman.

Cool Video Tim. Like the choice of music too.
Some nice editing as well. What programs you use to edit the video and music?

pyxen, that was cool! Love the music, even if the scenery was somewhat degraded from sandy's post. This convinces me, I have to record my daily ride into work. Parts are nice... parts are suburban DC hell, though the whole ride is all of 6 miles. I still think I will tape the cam to my helmet... maybe the bars.
Thanks for the post, I also agree we should have a forum area just for ride vids- we need more of those!

I just used Windows Movie Maker actually.. really simple to use, and if you don't try to get too fancy, it goes really quickly and you get a decent product.
Thanks
I'll try and get more of the bike next time! haha.. I wish I could ride my bicycle that fast
My camera only takes 1 minute clips at a time, so on my ride down to NY I think I'll take a minute every 15 or so..then figure out how to speed it up where it's boring (read: not twisty!).
I'll post a shot of the bracket tonight.
Thanks

Cool vid, Sandy. It's obvious you don't live in the Kansas flatlands.
With that camera position, the viewer gets the impression he's in a sidehack. Very cool.

Nice vid Sandy. Looks a lot like the ride I had yesterday. Just wondering though, is there a way to hook up and external mic to that camera? Maybe stick it directly behind the exhaust? Probably wouldn't last very long in the heat, but it might cut down on the wind noise and bring out more of that beautiful KZ song.

Riverroad...no way to get an external mic with THAT camera,Bud...the mic is built right into the camera and there's no input for another mic...thought of that already though.
I did, however, put a piece of tape over the mic to muffle out SOME of the wind noise, and it did help.
I think the only way to do that would be to get the camera mounted in a plexi-glass box or something.
"Beautiful KZ song"...that's good,lol:lol:
And Nate...You gotter Bud..."Golden Earring,Radar Love"
Tony...With Your brains and My...uhhh...few cells...We SHOULD be able to come up with a way to make this work better...so GET ON IT!
