1982 KZ550 LTD

Well the bike is pretty much done.

A few last minute finishes included replacing the side cover grommets (they were....untrustworthy). Had to exchange my brake line (it would have been the right length with the original master, but the new one is smaller and that made my line about an inch too short!). Assembled and bled the front brake system. Mounted the seat.

Then it was sunny and 17 degrees. I had a bunch of new riding gear so figured today was the day. Out for a few laps around the block. It was fantastic. The bike ran great, no real issues. I didn't drop it, which was nice. 

I do have a new clutch lever blade, as the original one has some slop where the cable end goes. But that seems like a good rainy day project...
