I'm sure it's too late. But, when I get an old bike that has been sitting. I only try and turn the crank a very little bit.
My method is to pull carbs, pull spark plugs, blow compressed air thru all plug holes.
Get an ounce or 2 of Marvels Mystery Oil into each cylinder for a day or 2 just let sit.
Then kick it over. That will need the valves and seats ground if it sat that long without ever being cranked over? Maybe it was? Maybe someone put oil in cyls.? Each bike and situation is different. Locations too? Warm humid, cold winter, salt air? JMO, I've had a few!
