I think I have a front rim in good shape from a '76. It's a 5H if memory serves, but like others here my memory doesn't last as long as it once did. You're welcome to the rim...I may even find the hub if you want.
I have several restored bikes along with a 2006 Goldwing with a sidecar. My wife has a 2019 Suzuki DR 650 for on and off road.

HRM Thank you.

I have a front 5f 305, completely laced. Actually I bought it from Asphalt900... I just sent a rear 5e 305 off to be chrome plated... I’m more in need of direction on the correct front tire... I’m having a hard time identifying the F6B, nothing comes up on an internet search... the K87 rear I have, that’s a Dunlop Goldseal...

Small progress today... couldn’t find information on the front F6B and the K87 is sold out till August. So I went with the tt100 roadmaster. Hope it’s correct enough. Rear is held up as USPS is still slow getting the rim to NY for chrome Plating...

Very cool to see a bike built in Lincoln during the first year of my 43 year career getting so much love! I very possibly had my grubby little hands on it. Any idea if the original color was bronze or green?

This is an F6. I have them on both my Z1's. They don't look at all like the original F11.

I bought the last one from a guy on ebay - retro-motorcycles. He is also a Facebook friend...lives in Seattle and sells Z1 stuff.

The second photo is an original F11 on a friend's Z1 S/N 1006. He completely restored it but doesn't intend to ride it. It sits in his LR.

Would love to see some photos of your W1! I've been looking around for a while but they're pretty rare.

This the trouble I’m getting in to... this is claimed to be an F11 front and a K87 rear... looks like yours that was claimed to be a F6

Definitely not an F11. They haven't made them for years but occasionally a bike shop will find one in old stock. Here's a better view of the tread. (Same bike) It's what I remember from back in the day...I'll look at my old bike photos to see if I have any showing the tread.

Apologies Mikaw...my head is on backwards today. The OLD Z1 front tire was an F6. The tires I have on my bikes are Dunlop Gold Seal F11.

I do have an old photo from the '70's of my Z1B, showing the tread. Here it is. That's my mother on the back. We were just playing around for the photographer...my Dad.
