Finally got to take it for a test ride.
A few bugs to work out but I was surprised how well it worked out.
It rides , handles and stops so much better than stock.
I had a stock kz guy over buying parts and was trying to tell me it was going to be much heavier, but I knew it was going to be lighter.
The thing I like best is how light it feels now.
Now I'm trying to decide on the paint.
I am a artist and custom painter but I really like it in plain black.
Though about blue pearl and metallic or some red stockish graphics. Mabe airbrushed true fire flames.

Yes sir that turned out nice.the weight reduction is what was really noticeable on my bike.to sit on it and lift it off the stand it feels like smaller bike.mine feels like i lost about 65 lbs. out of the front end.

Starting to work on the body and paint.
Bought a Kawasaki Vulcan front fender.
Had to do some cutting , sectioning and a bit of tig welding. Had to re-shape it a bit but looks wright on it.

Working on the body and paint.
I should have bought a new tank.
There was rust , I sealed it inside but some of it is lifting and there was a pinhole in the side.
There was also a inch of bondo on it because someone couldn't pull a dent first.
The right side cover had 1/4"of paint.
I used a Kawasaki Vulcan front fender that I had to rework a bit.
The rear fender a left side cover was mint original paint though
I'm trying to decide if I want to add black pearl and metallic to the clear.

Black pearl! Maybe some OEM style pinstripes for contrast?

Not as comfy as the stock seat but way more comfortable than my $600.00 Sargent seat on my ducati, and that was a improvement over the stock seat.
So feels great to me.
Probably sell the stock seat and buy more parts.
Looking for a oil cooler and fittings now.

The bike looks great!

May I ask what make seat that is that you have on your bike in the picture? Thanks...
