I bet bdesign won't do another sticker with out charging me might have to send them an email

I emailed Brian from bdesign and he is going to make me another vin sticker ASAP he has been realy good about it and always answers my emails

Been busy at work and haven't had a chance to do much lately
I thought I would pull my gauges apart to have a look at an issue with the trip meter, it is not siting in their properly and the reset button is missing , so I hoped it was just because of the missing button and screw but boy was I wrong here are some pics
It's a bit hard to see in this pic with the reflection on the glass
This one is better with the covers off

What I found was the shaft has snapped off, a bit more serious then just a missing knob and screw
Does anyone know if this can be repaired or should I look for a new speedo
Also what is everyone's thoughts on my options for the gauge covers the plastic is a bit faded and dull, they are not available new so I was thinking about painting them satin black and then using a 2k clear for durability

Here is a couple of pics of the faded gauge covers I think thier a bit far gone for any sort of plastic treatment
