KZ1000/ZRX1200 Build

I am starting this build log in order to document the destruction/construction of what will become my purpose built monster bike. We began with a moderately used KZ1000 Police bike, one of three KZs that we obtained, and over the last couple of months have acquired a more interesting power plant for the project.

Thank you for the reply, we originally intended on using the 1015 with a 1075 kit, but the 1200 fell out of the sky and we had to do it. It does save the 1015 for the LTD/Z1 classic copy that I intend to do. We are mocking the front with the 43mm Police bike front but should be utilizing a 900 Ducati front once we get the geometry correct.

I missed this pic of the Police as a roller on the earlier posts

While waiting on the next installment of Oni's build, I figured I would show you our last project bike. I intended on making a project build with this while we were completing it but decided if I put it on the two stroke forum someone would probably want to kill me for what I did to this poor little 1972 Kawasaki S2 350..... but it is fast and loud (relatively speaking)

Initially we considered the body work off of a KZ1000 ST, but sadly this did not look appealing. We re-attached the Police tank for now and utilized an LTD tail for sizing. I am hoping to get my hands on a Z1R tank.

Call me crazy, I like the ST body work. I would probably dish it in a bit more on the back of the tank. Either way I'm sure you will have a primo build.
