I think i would rather do the rearsets than highway bars, stock seats support you on your hips, highway bars put your weight on your tailbone, also when hitting bumps you are supposed to slightly raise your weight up and squeeze.

Better control, better form, also leaning into turns makes you use them abs, and corner carving is much easier when you have control. Stock pegs or rearsets IMHO. Of course I've had a goldwing with floor boards and that was nice to

My HWY pegs are folded most of the time, Too wide. The only time I use them is when I'm crossing the Mojave. On the 10 coming from the Palm Desert area to Phelan in the High Desert, there are too many stupid drivers. Have to be ready for a hole shot in a seconds notice. Besides, it looks stupid with your feet in the air. Feels good to stretch though.

So to resurrect an ancient thread...it took me 8 years to do something with it. I was working at Two Wheel Motorsport in Guelph with no spare time whatsoever. Decided to bite the bullet and bring it into the shop. Tech who loves old tech took it on. Rebuilt all the carbs. Rebuilt the petcock. Did the safety. All told a bunch of money and she ran great. Still does. Problem is in the two years since I bet I haven't rode it a half a dozen times. I haven't ridden any of my street bikes. I have a farm and about 18 horses that take up all my time. If I do get a chance to get out I end up doing a track day on my track bikes which I have 3 of. So the long and short of is I will be selling this one. If anyone is interested hit me up. At least if one of you guys get it I know it will be appreciated.  I will make a separate thread to sell it if that is allowed here. I  haven't posted it anywhere else as you guys get first crack.
I don't live to ride, I ride to live.

No problem with you creating a "for sale" thread as long as it's a "private" sale
