my new kz900 find!!!!

hey guy's haven't posted in a while... just sold my black cherry kz900 2wks ago...it went back to the original owners family///
new find... just found on kansas city craigslist. the bike has been completely restored from frame up!! every nut and bolt polished... all new chrome everywhere.. new paint.. new everything top to bottom... my only plans are an ltd style seat. so if anyone has a like new ltd seat to trade for this new repro seat let me know... plan on adding some pinstriping or have it striped in mettalic black like the 73 z1's...
and the motor has been completely gone through... owner had put about 200 miles on it since being restored...
it pays to be diligent on craigslist... was well worth the 600 mile round trip from tulsa to kc to get this one!!

If it makes it easier you can use the ltd seat foam and cover on your stock seat pan.

Is it still a 900, or did he punch it out to 1015 when he went through it?

supposedly it was punched out to 1015cc.. motor work was done before the last owner purchased the bike and proceeded with his 1yr of restoring it.. so have no paperwork to guarantee what was done... but it runs really well. and motor is tight and quiet and not a drip of oil!!!

Great looking bike. I would vote in favor of stripes but it sure looks good that way it is.

That new seat seems like the way to go....getting hard to find a good used one for that price anymore.
