Thanks to all who replied 531 blackbanshee thanks for the article it was a good read. Decided to go with a YSS rear shocks it is length adjustable so can play around if need be when i get a new swinger. that the theory any way. Shocks should be here this week will post pic if anyone is interested.
KidKawie off the topic i have just finished a 83 RZ350, have an RD but thats a real long termer (bit each year) Go the strokes!

Id say buy youre swingarm first,once you get the shocks youre stuck with them

For example, generic "lowering blocks" relocate the lower shock mount rearward about 2 inches, while leaving the top shock mount in its original location.
Where lowering blocks are fitted, using the same springs on the same shocks, the resulting suspension becomes uncomfortably rigid as if the shocks had been replaced with solid struts.
Best to go ahead and schedule early appointments with the dentist and chiropractor.

we will look at pictures of two strokes also :lol: !
i have an rd400 that i plan to install a banshee engine into,it's in the dust collecting stages right now :laugh: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Those are cool bikes. I'd like to find a Kaw AR80. Impossible in the US tho.

i guess there are the spring adjustments on the bottom, on the top of my kz750h there is a round turning thing that the spring resides inside of with numbers on it. on mine one of them clicks when i turn it and the other doesn't my back has been hurting probably because of this.< a little lopsided :blink: that is of the rear shocks and springs
