I agree. And I did build it my way. I feel everything I did was an improvement. It just seems to me that if you have a chance to keep the original parts with the bike, you should. I'm not a purist, but I guess you could say I have a sympathetic understanding.

Beautiful riding weather for bike week in Florida!

PS. That tail light is available thru J&P for about $50 or $60 (lic plate bracket included). I think it's a bit larger than stock Harley, so it fills the entire fender. Just a coincidence that the shape is nearly the same. I found mine on Craigs list for $40.
