great job. it looks great. 
were u able to use the 2004 gsxr 600 shifter linkage? the part that goes on the kz's shifter shaft? i am looking for something to fit my KZ, and wondered if the suzuki splines were the same as the KZ's.

76 KZ, frame gusset work,1200CC.Ported by Larry Cavanaugh, 1.5mm.over intakes, Carron Pipe, ZRX12 rear end, and seat,96zx9 front end.

u can use the stock cover.
i gutted it and shimmed it out with 2 washers on each bolt. then i lengthened the shift shaft a smidge.
i run 5/8" offset too.
thanks for the tip on the linkage. i'll be watching Ebay for all options.
