I used to have skid plates on a Jeep. Never on a motorcycle before. I have a lot to learn in the chopper realm.

I have to dis-agree with you about that front wheel. The more spokes the better, in this case IMO.

I thought the same thing about that picture. You know me, I need to get the stance and the lines right first and foremost. After that, it's about not making a mess of the simple lines while still making a functional bike. It even came with a couple of sets of drag bars. One set seems to be in perfect shape. Now I understand why the chopper guys run no front brake or a minimal front brake. It's cool to see all that air through the spoked front wheel.

Gimme, some time, I'm starting to get attached to this thing. I moved it out to my storage yesterday, so I won't have it calling my name right now. Too many irons in the fire at the moment. I'm still trying to get that old Glastron sea worthy.

now I see what Leon's thinking. Make it a street legal drag style bike, drag bar and very minimal bodywork if any. The bigger wheel works for that look. Lots of smokey burnouts!

Now you are coming around Nellie! Totally stripped, low, lean, and mean. Tank, seat, motor, small box to hide the wires, minimal lights, and a mirror one day every year. Heck I could haul it over to our little drag strip in Baytown. You know the one where they have the NHRA Spring Nationals. www.dragzine.com/race-coverage/nhra-orei...-recap-from-houston/

They have a run what you brung type deal on Friday nights. $20 gets you all the passes you want.

Oh great, now Leon's got me thinking about Lectrons, big blocks, air shifters, and slider clutches. I even know where to get a set of 39mm CRS's for decent money right now. I don't need any more obsessions.

Well the white tires and matching handlebar grips look ok, but I'm not so sure the pink frame fits your image. :woohoo:

That's a good one Ed! I guess you missed this picture from my previous build thread. This was my old ride before I got the pink one:
