I should have done the clearancing before I had the plate anodized, but I was already paying the minimum charge for the anodizers, so it was a freebie
I didn't have the energy (or time) to mock the bike up and properly fit the bearing plate before having it anodized.
Joe, my offset is around .920" I'll remeasure it before I order my sprocket.

I have an oem stem nut that is gold anodized, but the threads are jacked. I will most likely use a yoshi stem nut that is anodized a dark bronze like the forks. The handlebar risers will be polished and I'll use a black protaper or renthal fat bar for my steering leverage

I called Yoshi today, and ti seems they do not make a stem nut for the 05-06 gsxr1K I need to check with irishwill and see what thread pitch he used on the stem since Suzuki changed it in '07. I blew it with my new triples  I used 25mm long bolts when I should have used 20mm, and I sheared the heads off 3 cap screws in the bottom triple
I was beside myself first with anger and what a moron I was, then fear I might have screwed my pretty new parts  I dropped it off this afternoon to have the bolts EDM'ed out. They guy was way cool and said it would be ready tomorrow (the same shop that removed the 2 main bolts from my case and blasted all my engine parts) AND my new anodizing wouldn't be harmed in any way. WHEW! world calamity avoided

Yeah, the bolts bottomed out about a millimeter too soon. The swingarm is off an '08 triumph speed triple.

I know Leon, I know. If I could have kicked my own ass I would have, but you're more than welcome to come out and enjoy this rough 75 degree chill and sunny sky's we're fighting. The Santa Ana winds are in force today, but should subside soon. I am crossing my fingers I can get out of work early enough to get my head and triples this afternoon. My first bike bandit order still hasn't shown up yet, which means my second order with the stem seal is a day behind that
BB is conspiring against me!! So much for "2 days shipping anywhere in California". Lying bastards :S
