nice to see plummen check in.i started to call and check to make sure you hadn't gotten laid up out on the road.
that suzuki (although it does feel like talking about homosexual activity or something, kinda wierd
)will be a hoot to ride.my buddy used to have one that he bought cheap and he used to let me ride it (when i was like 17/18).he told me to take the r's up to like 7200/7600 or something in there and just let the clutch out  .which i did :woohoo: and that thing would light the tire and fishtail so predictably until it finally hooked and then blast up to a hundred and somethin.then stop and do it again  :silly:
.
i can't tell you how many times i did that, more than i could count for sure.it was a fun bike.
i just didn't want to be seen on it  ,
cause everyone knew i was kawasaki guy.

You talking about doing a rolling burnout, or from a dead stop? Sounds fun, I might give it a try when she's road ready.

Thanks Nelson. After seeing the pics of my bike without the seat, and seeing your photoshop avatar of your bike, it makes me think that I need to make a seat like your rendering. That's a future project, but I like to steal design ideas where I can take them. My current seat works, but I need to address it in the future. Your photoshop picture is the inspiration for my future seat.
Now get your ass to work.Don't feel bad. Do something about it! Can't never could.
ah! I knew I shouldn't have posted that, I don't wanna give away all my ideas and have somebody copy me before my bike is even done!

Thanks boss. I learn everything by screwing it up the first time. I knew it was going too easy until I sprayed the clear. Anyway, that's the benefit of having three bikes. When one pisses you off, walk away, work on the other one, or go for a ride. BTW welcome to the party!
I should be back on my paint by early next week. Cooling off period is almost over.

i dont wanna jinx your project and i need to look closer...and i am no expert on hybrids...but by the look of the lines and stance you may have some good traits built into your handling....
the bike sits "right".....if you can get those shocks and rear unit sprung right for your weight....and settle on some tire psi and make, and work out the drive lash...and neck and swing arm pivots are smooth and stable......
you may just have real rippper.......the front (to me) imho...looks to set in the way a kz wants to track .....i bet the fork (shocks) will take a good bit of changes/dialing with that tractor motor shoving em into corners....but it appears that you have done something different and the bike is standing up....
i like it a lot

Hey Josh, I love the R6 tail light conversion you did. Did you have to switch to a no-load flasher to get this to work? If so, you got any advice on locating a specific one for this application? This would make a great tutorial with pics for us novices.
I'm lovin your bike man, great job.
