Wow, seems pretty cheap considering all the work that went into it. It would be a great toy to play around with. I would think you could get that out of it pretty easily, but I guess time will tell.
You might have already covered this - but can it be titled as the 550? Would be a cool super moto bike if you could get plates for it.

I had planned to title it as a 550. If i ever got pulled over the vin would match (cut it out of the neck before i trashed the frame). Its just a custom 550 with yamaha suspension  . I dont see why you wouldn't be able to plate it unless the bmv in your state has to phyically go over the bike.
Price drop 700$
Who needs a low mileage 550 engine? Buy the engine for 700 and it comes with a bike attached to it

Ohio only requires a VIN verification for out of state vehicle inspections. You could take the plastic off and they wouldn't think twice about it. On the couple that I've had done they just verified the VIN and approved it, no questions asked.

By the way, does the stock yamaha fuel tank still fit? It looks like it might be on there in that last video.

Yeah, it fits perfectly on there and covers the coil up. I had to trim the bottom of the tank to fit the carbs in there and haven't had the bottoms plastic welded shut.
