I actually think this will end up being a good project. I'm planning on using the engine from my 77 1000 LTD which I have had running if this engine ends up being stuck too bad. As a bonus when I went to see him the other day he ended up giving me a small boat motor he has laying around. I'm not sure what I'll have to do to make it run but if it ends up being junk I'm not out anything.

First off, Gringo, I hate/despise you for this find....
Secondly, Steve, " wish i could just fall into the deals like you do." .... Screw you for you picked up a KZ off a dead owners brother for $100 so I hate you as well ....
It amazes me, running or not, when they started tearing the building down, wouldn't you'd think they gut everything out of it first... :S
I mean even the construction workers would normally see this and go hey wait, what about the motorcycle. The owner stats junk, then the construction worker replies can have it then.... that's what weused to do anyways....
Hell, a freind picked up his boat that way...
All in all, sweet score for the motor & electrical alone is worth that... SCORE for the Gringo!
Oil cooler next then I'm really on the prowl for the next KZ....

After seeing the picture, "Find" is the proper word. It's like a "Where's Waldo" that you posted there.
"Find Waldo, also find 1) Waldo's gas tank, 2)Waldos seat,..."

That tank is awesome! I would hang that on the wall of my garage. I love old beat up tanks. I really need to start buying them (or taking them off peoples hands).

Don you haven't seen the best part of it yet, there is a painting of the Zig-Zag man on the top of the tank......like far out man. Maybe I should put it on ebay and claim the bike once belonged to Tommy Chong.
Not that I don't currently have enough trash around here but the idea of hanging that up is a good one.
