JB do yourself a favour and put race fuel in it for any top speed runs. You are going to need it.

Work is going to have to take a break for a few days, damn grinder got a hold of something and decided it wanted to catch my finger. Wouldn't have been to bad if it didn't get some bone with it. Luckily we don't think it got any tendons, but won't know for sure until the swelling goes down.

My thumbnail is still sporting a groove from when grinding welds down inside the frame cage. Made for an interesting 2 minutes while trying to bandage it up to keep going.

Nice gash you got there, reminds me of this time the fan on my uncles nova tried to take off my thumb. We super-glued the skin back together and it healed up pretty good.

what the hell ? i was down in louisville today at my place back in the tree line with my buddy the professional lumber jack, well i somehow i talked him into turning me loose with one of his big toys!
    :S :silly: anyway i was doing good in the open part of the field where he was at when i decided i was ready for more of a challenge so i went over where the stuff was really overgrown and started just dropping mid sid size 25-30'trees like a beaver on pcp fast forward about 20 trees i had a couple close calls but i was feeling cocky!then came this big ass around 12-14 across tree on a bit of a slope ,so i thought no biggy and notched it and then cut the other side.well i really need to learn to slow down and look up cuz this damn thing started to drop then hit another tree which kicked the bottem back my way hitting my right leg right below the knee which got my attention then it slid down my leg and landed right on top of my freaking foot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :X :X :X :X :X :X :X :X :X :X
   :S i shut off the saw and my buddy came running over to see if i was alive i told him this is why they dont give chainsaws to plumbing electricians.i hobbled across the field about 10' and layed in the snow for about 20 minutes trying to take my mind off the pain and started laughing about, that was a long 40 mile trip into omaha to get it looked at.anyway the doctor told me there is a whole bunch of bones in foot(cant remember number ! )anyway he basically told me i had just multiplied that number by 1.5 and told me it would heal on its own in a few weeks put ice on it and take lots of advil and see my doctor this week .my camera is in my truck and im not hopping outside to get it right now,but trust me my foot looks much worse than your finger!:woohoo:

Oh and I hit the same finger in the same place with an angle grinder and a flap disk about 6 months ago. I don't think I nicked the bone. About a week after it happened and it was finally starting to scab over, guess what happened? Oh yeah, hit it again in the same spot with the same angle grinder with the same flap disk.:S I have a nice scar now.
