You might go through a few drill bits on the sprocket, but you could drill holes in the head of the bolt and the sprocket and safety wire it. At least that way you can have some piece of mind

Do you still have the splined washer for the c.s. sprocket bolt? You could drill a hole in that and use it to wire to, or bend it over the bolt like OEM. You'll have to forgive the suggestions, I'm sure you have already though of all these solutions
