Glad you found an air box, because I did sell the one I had.
I've never seen an advancer that rusty! Your advancer pic is missing the cam. You do have it right? It can be put on two ways, the right way and 180 degrees off. If you put it back on 180 deg. off, your timing will be out and you'll need to switch the coil wires. Mine were reversed for over a year before I found my cam was on backwards. The small line at the high point of the cam needs to face the small hole on the backing plate on the 2 3 side. If that doesn't make sence, I'll try top find a picture.

Your bike looks great by the way. B)

Hey, good to see another Hoosier around... nice looking bike. I'm from over here in South Bend... my wife is from Fort Wayne so I get over there every once in a while.

Us Hoosiers aughta get together and go on a fall ride before the weather shuts down...

Good luck man.

I took that pic right after I removed the Cam.
It took me two days to get the cam off!!! I had to soak it in PB blast for a total of about 20 hours and then I finally unstuck it with one of those rubber jar lid openers and a pair of pliers! The Clymers manual had pics on info on how to put it back together correctly. But thank for the heads up.

Hi Claude,

I'm hoping to get her on the road this week and get a little riding in before it gets to cold out! I'm definitely up for meeting and riding with some other KZ riders.

Here ya go pumps.
stores.ebay.com/The-Kawasaki-Store

They sell them in sets of four and they're only two conductor wiring.
So if you want to use them up front you'll lose the running lights.

Voodoosoup: My buddy at work keeps saying there are no good deals on eBay anymore, but I say balderdash! You prove my point with your bike...nice deal and looking good. :)

Ok , went to that guys ebay store. You mention the ones you bought won't work in front unless I want to lose my running lights. They are single filament units I guess. Here are some flush mounts that are dual filament. do you suppose they would work on the front and still give running lights?

Flush Mount

Here are some that say suitable for the front.

I finally got around to installing my $5.00 eBay 95' ZX6 tail light.

I found a post in the archives where Mark Wing had done something similar.

I actually installed mine upside down from its original orientation.
I think it looks good. I'll see how I feel about it after looking at it tht way for a few days. Mounting was easy, I just used some 1/16th strip aluminum and bent two brackets in a vise and then drilled mounting holes.

Looking good Voodoosoup...I like the 650's and they seem to lend themselves to modification:whistle: . BTW, I think you have a set of early MAC's as headers.
