Greetings...have been a KZ cycle rider since 1979. My first scooter was a triumph cub back in '67', since then there have been several KZs. My main machine at present [ and has been since new in '80'] is the KZ1000-G1 Classic. Through the years there has been a KZ400,SR650, KZ750 and a FLHTC which hung around for 18 years.Dirt bikes ,ATVs and a honda odyssey still occupy space in the garage. I have been a commercial fisherman and high seas fishing boat captain for 37 years[ now semi-retired ], living in the Cape May NJ area. Still like to ride....B)

Welcome to KZR Capt. Ed, nice to have another Classic owner on the board. How many miles have you put on it in 27 years time? Are you still running the fuel injection? I don't ride mine much but I sure enjoy it when I do.

Glad to hear from a KZ Classic G1 rider...not all that many still around on the road any more. Yes the injection is still there and there is a little less than 14K on the odometer.

Funny about that...

When I was a rotten widdle kid, I made a point of sneaking around with a pair of scisors and lining myself up for at least 25 to life if I ever got caught. B)

However, despite the "Do Not Remove" and the penalties of law, which I've studiously avoided paying attention to my entire extended adolesence as well, I'd think there will come a time when that sticker will be worth at least 2 or 4 times its weight in your pick of precious metals. :woohoo:

Sounds like a good excuse to leave on there to me. ;)
