It is going out to you tomorrow. Let us know what you think once you have everything installed. The first thing you will notice how much less heat there is. The quartz bulb puts out about 1600BTU of heat while the entire HID system puts out about about 560BTU of heat spread out over the ballast and the bulb.

I would like to mention, that the units I sell I perform ALL modifications to to allow all variations of use and everything is 100% reversible. There is no wire cutting or splicing. Everything is Plug-N-Play. These units are suppled with either a 7" round or a 7"x6" reflector of your choice. They also come with the LED driving light and a 90/100W Halogen bulb if you ever decide you want to use it. If you ever need to remove the system to pass a local inspection, it will take you no more time to revert back than it would take you to change a headlight bulb. And if you have a headlight that has the old stile sealed beam bulb than this reversal would take you even shorter. I provide 100% email or telephone support. I will not drive to your house to install it though. It is so easy "A caveman can do it". Even the ones that ware those gay leather riding suits that abandon those really hot chicks just because of a billboard. Shish-  :woohoo:

It has been suggested to me, why not use the Bi-Xenon bulbs in our systems. The reasons are couple. First of all they are much more susceptible to shock due to the solenoid and the sliding sleeve. You can actually shatter a Xenon tube because the slider can hit it during a shock. Also there are space considerations in our bikes. There is a rather large barrel in the back of the bulb to operate the shifting mechanism. This would have to be stuffed into your headlight bucket. In the situation where there is a Halogen bulb used as a Hi-Beam this is completely absent. There is nothing but wires coming from the bulb base. There is actually less than there is on a regular Halogen bulb, because there is no plug. The plug is at the end of a wire which can be tucked into any side space available.

Hey Otakar,I put the Bi-Xenon kit on my bike two years ago and it's worked perfectly ever since. If you remember the thread I posted about a couple of years ago it was similar to what you are doing right now but i believe the technology has gotten better. Here is the thread from 2 years ago.

we experimented with it also but found the space very tight inside the round buckets on the kz900/1000 stile round lights. I also had them on my Jeep and broke both Xenon tubes in rough terrain. For someone who pops wheelies, they take a huge risk of busting them. In my GPz1150 I did not have anywhere CLOSE to enough room inside the bucket either. Just not worth the risk.
