Sent my ZX10R front rim off to Will's Rim Repair and got it back on Friday. Will is a great guy to deal with. He wasn't happy with the results and wouldn't charge me. It has a small flat spot on the lip but I don't think that will affect the ride. If you have a bent rim, he's the man.

Not much progress lately, been busy with other stuff (snowboarding in Colorado, epic). But all that's about to change. Got the frame back from powder coat today. Should get the engine back in this weekend.

Reassembly begins. I have a feeling it will take longer than I anticipate. Still lots to paint. I'll put it all together tomorrow so I can get an idea what she'll look like. Visualizing what it will look like is good motivation to keep plugging along.

Made the upper triple clamp. Still have to cut the pinch slot and drill/tap. It's kind of slabular right now, needs some pockets or arrays of holes. But it will do for now.

I'm liking it. Now I just need a seat, paint the tank, fenders, side panels, exhaust, all new wiring, battery box, fork stops, mount for the tail light, rebuild the controls, new rear sprocket and chain, build inner fender and tons more crap I don't want to think about. Oh, and my forks tubes are bent so I got to straighten those, or maybe find some.

Thanks guys. I'm pretty set on the seat I want. I'm taking the pan to an upholsterer very soon. Just need to do some shaping on the seat foam to get the right feel/shape first.

Shaped the seat foam. Feels good. Opinions before I take it to the upholserer?
