Once you get it where you think it needs to be use a ratchet tie down been rear wheel and rear loop on frame to bottem it out and see if it binds anyplace in between. B)

Great idea Wireman, thanks. I found out that the stock travel is about 4 inches on the GPZ shock and think it will be similar on any other I use so I will see what the angle looks like with that much travel. I have been trying to come up with some sort of adjustable top shock mount, maybe with 2 sets of mount locations. Have an idea.

Looking at the 3 pics are there any that look more "right" than the other?

Those are way nice but far beyond my abilities. Really cool though. With those I would not have to redo my top mount!

You could pick up a piece of all thread and some sort of heim joints from tractor supply or someplace like that to make a quick/cheap adjustable strut for figuring locations as long as you know the compressed and free length of your shock. B)

Hopefully get the sub frame done today. Trying to decide on length of tail/seat and height of. I am leaning towards raising the sub frame about an inch above stock. Pics are of it raised about where I am thinking. Not sure on length yet. I shortened the front 2 inchs,Could go another inch or two maybe.
