i tried googling diff color bike frames. are there any photos out there of kz frames painted, or coated other than black? also are there any that are diff color frames that keep the stock profile? (factory bike parts)

reason being i am getting by frame/swing arm coated and black just seems so feking boring.

Pg 2, in this build shows the Blue frame. Not too shabby in my eye.

My 650 frame was lime green at one time...not very pleasing, it wasnt Kawi green but a rather putrid lime. But I'm considering using Hammerd Silver paint on it instead of black for a repaint. Stripped it chemicaly today.

If not already done, could check out the bikes in KZr's gallery, and likely find some examples with frame colors besides black. :)

I totally agree…. Black is so bourgeois

I got bored of black a while ago…. And it’s not even a colour either.

Something to take into account about powder coating:
Cant blend colours into each other and the choice is left up to the powder coaters available colour range… also if you get something spesh then try to touch it up when you get a stone chip… hmmm
I cant get past the price also… my mate got his frame done in a nice metallic blue…. $425au later though, my god that’s more than I have spent on my latest project so far and its almost finished..

Below are 2 pics, ones of the KZ (hanging) the other gives you an idea of the prospects other than black and powder coating… read what has been done to it, powder coating cant give you this outcome and I believe 99.9% of bikes in this forum don’t share a resemblance either…. I don’t think so anyway?

KZ frame... Blue with green pearl added to the paint

This is the shyte!....you will never get this with powder coating and I dont think anyone else's frame does what this thing does....Its standard blue with a chamelion Pearl (blue to purple colour change) over the top BUT!....
the best part is it glows in the dark "BRIGHT GREEN"... it has a glow in the dark pigment in the top coat also....

heres a question for you....what do you do when you turn the light off in the garage after looking at your bike at night, go inside because its dark.
Me,... I stare at mine for the next 10mins fricken amazed! :woohoo:

(shame I dont have a pic of it at night, thats the prob with digital cameras)

My frame used to be white at one time but now it's one of those color shifting paints. I think it works well with the different paint jobs I have for my bike.

almost all colors work with a silver or black frame.
so if you decide to switch up your bodywork it is not necessary to re-paint the frame.
however if you go with a,say blue frame.that looks awesome with some blue bodywork, but try to switch to red and now you got a superman bike.
which is fine if thats your thing.
if you are counting on frame color to make your bike stand apart you have prolly overlooked some cool mods.
just sayin,
now color floppin paints, work really nice with hallucinogens
