I want to replace my existing Coni rear suspension on my 650 SR 81.
I have measure the length to be approx. 30cm..

What do I have to choice between, I want a modern look, black ish ?
What about bushing, I only need to make sure the bushing fit my existing bolts?

Is there big different in performance? more money you use, better driving handling ?

On my bike it will not have any effect?

I`m looking for suspension to looks cool :)

I have just take a quick look at Ikon and Hagon, will take a closer look.
Is there other brand I can look at?

What is the important thing? length? bushing size?

The extra tank, as you call it, is a chamber for pressurized nitrogen. It helps to prevent the oil from frothing under severe usage.
The very best shocks you can get are Ohlins, but they are quite expensive. You might be able to adapt some used shocks from a ZRX 1100 or 1200. They have the nitrogen reservoir, and are rebuildable. You will need to compare measurements.
I don’t think Hagon makes that style. Perhaps YSS does.

and on a more serious note.

CafeRacer.net >>> Rebuilding RFY Cheap Shocks how-to topic with pictures.

Related. you have to be careful when machining or modifying cheap shocks. the bottom mount could be weakened. so the bottom mount could snap off, causing a serious motorcycle accident. I would be worried about that, even if they are un-modified.
