here are some sanctuary laydown shock mounts prior to welding.





i like the way they extend all the way through the tube to help bridge the two sides and tie them together.

Thanks Leon, that's pretty much how I will be doing mine. The small ends must fit into their alignment jig and get cut off when the mounts are welded in. I will post some pictures once I have mine turned on the lathe.

Make a couple extra sets while you are set-up!! I may be interested in a set or two. On my 550 frame pictured above, we just turned the stock mounts down in the lathe til the old weld was gone. I cut off the threaded end, and then drilled them to use an allen and aluminum cap like a Zephyr.

I forgot what the actual angle measurments are, but these a about 10 degrees different than stock:
