i have a older zx-7 swingarm on one of my older conversions the style that uses the eccentric adjusters and it wasn't to bad to switch over and it gave the wheel base an extra 2 inches all i did was make a mount for the tourque arm and cut the mono shock linkage mounts off and flippthem around and remount them on the top for shock mounts. i also have a gs 1100 setup on my little drag bike and it was very easy to convert. for racing i like the gs arm but for looks on the street the zx arm is pretty cool.

i took the mono shock linkage mounts of the bottom of the swingarm and flipped them around and located them on the upper side of the swingarm and welded them in place they were a perfect fit for the shocks that way i didn't have to make anything else up and they are very beefy it worked out perfect as they are made out of the same alluminium as the swingarm so we didn't have to try to weld disimalar types of metal together so it made it very strong. win win situation

old man i right.the suzuki gs1100 arm is the most common.that is what i use.they fit with no mods just a small spacer on each side of the pivot shaft.this will keep the dual shock setup and that is what i prefer on a old kz.

But to loose body organs for the sake of stiling is just not for me. I want to be able to ride till I'm at least 85+++ :woohoo:
