With switches like this, you want the actual Microswitch brand. They are all generically called micro switches, but Micro Switch is a good brand made by Honeywell.
At least this reputable seller specifies that it is NOT Microswitch brand.

Then there is a slew of non-contact proximity switches you could use. A magnetic reed switch could work if it's not glass... too fragile. There are other hall-effect switches too. But a magnet on the kickstand may start collecting metal debris.

BMW had this figured out for years. No need for any electronics. Just have a heavy spring always forcing the kickstand up. Must be at least 40lb spring pressure always trying to release the kickstand. Worked fabulous on BMW.

321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.
