I should know this but... Are the float bowls the same on the KZ650 early non-pumper and the 76-78 KZ900-1000? I know they share the same gasket 11009-1563, any other physical differences besides the choke jet opening size?

I believe the 77 and 78's share the same bowls and I have swapped them before.
