Not stock, your 79 came with the VM series carb not the BS.

In addition to what Baldy said...
If I recall correctly, the 79 1000 E1 carbs have an accelerator pump, which can be eliminated with different jetting, to simplify the operation and make the carbs more consistent.

You're right, I checked according the carburetor model you say and I provably have the kz1000 J model between 81-83 . Mine is bs34 and it's supposed to be vm28. Does this affect the performance of the bike? I mean with this carbs I go "slower"?

Look on the front bottom right of your cylinder casing. Does it say 998 or 1.015? If the former then you have an '81 or newer bike. If the latter (1.015) then it's a '79 or '80.
I have several restored bikes along with a 2006 Goldwing with a sidecar. My wife has a 2019 Suzuki DR 650 for on and off road.

I know I have the e1 model (engine, shaft and other features) but the cabrs are from other model (maybe J 81-83) so I want to know if that gives me lower speed ???

Hard to say for sure. It depends on how the carbs you currently have are set up. To be honest, I'm not familiar with them at all.

I believe the original carbs were VM28SS with an accelerator pump under #2 carb feeding a small shot of gas when the throttle is first blipped. They were good carbs...I have a set on my KZ1000. Some people don't like them because of the accelerator pump. It was added to assist with meeting emissions regs in the late '70's. There were also "smog" ports on the front of the valve cover that routed exhaust gas back to the air intake. It was an ugly mess of hose that most riders removed at some point.

If set up properly those BS34 will perform just as well as the VM28.

thank you very much for the info. I was thinking to get the stock carbs right away but instead of that I'll try to set the best I can mine and see how fast they could go. Who knows I may keep'em
