Hi
Picked up a set of carbs that was on a running kz1000 said the seller. They are marked 113 over 1 on one side and B8 over Z4 on the other side.
What bike were these carbs off of originally? Sorry can`t post pics. Does have one fuel inlet in the middle , throttle adjustment from the bottom and only air screw adjustment on the side.
Will check back tomorrow THANKS

Without pics no one can ID them.

Try WGcarbs.com. He has photos of various types of carburetors on his site. Click the Ad link above at the top of the page. the tech section probably has the most info. Also, you could do an internet image search for the various KZ carburetors. VM24. VM26. VM28. BS32. BS34. There's probably a few others, but that would be a start. I guess the ones I listed are the most common. someone will probably point out a glaring oversight, though. :)

I think 29 smoothbores have only one fuel inlet, but the throttle adjust is on the top, not the bottom.

Measure the ID of your outlet.  And do you have an accelerator pump on #2 carb?
I have several restored bikes along with a 2006 Goldwing with a sidecar. My wife has a 2019 Suzuki DR 650 for on and off road.

ID is 1.110 which is a little over 28mm , but that measurement does not go all the way back to throttle slide. There is a very small step up just before the slide maybe .020 each side. The ID bore seems a little rough but not machined or ground, but back next to slide it seems smooth.

An overall photo would be nice.

Do they have an accelerator pump on them?

Vm26. As fitted to later z9's and z1000,s not normal vm26 idle adjuster though.

Z1000J2 somewhat modified!

I think they are VM 28 SS (You measured the outlet at 28 mm) that have been modified.  Looks like they once had an accelerator pump (Note the needles in the carb intakes) but someone removed the pump (It normally sits on the bottom of #2 carb.)  and changed the throttle adjuster position.  Those carbs were used on '79 and '80 KZ1000's except for the '80 Z1R.  I have a set that came with my B4 but mine have two fuel intakes and normal air breather hoses that tuck into the hole in the gusset just behind the gas tank strap.

Normally there are two air pressure equalizer hoses...one between 1 and 2 carbs and one between 3 and 4 carbs.  The carbs in the photo have the equalizer blocked off for some reason.  I see that #3 carb also has a port, which suggests to me that #3 is really a #4 carb from another set.  The fuel intake looks like a mod.  ON the VM 28 SS series there are fuel lines between each carb.
