I bought a 12 dollar chinese petcock on ebay instead of trying to rebuild the petcock again. It works like the original only without all the leaks

I've had my bike for less than 2 years and going back would have done things differently after pulling it out of a 15 year barn stay. Essentially many parts on a KZ will not last, especially after sitting. Wish I had a list of must do replacement items back then and just went ahead with 1 nice big order from Z1 and be done with it. Perhaps this is something we can add to the filebase?
I chased a petcock problem for months, then took it apart and saw the damage (image posted above).
