Mine came with the plug. What would happen if I removed to plug?

There's a small passageway that connects the main port to the pilot port. If the plug isn't there, it's not going to draw correctly, and depending on the level of your float, you'll likely run very lean. Cycle Recycle has the plugs: www.newmotorcycleparts.com/fuel_system_p...misc_carb_parts.html , look about halfway down the page for "fuel passage plug".

I have an 83 KZ750 N2 Spectre.

I just drilled out those "Pilot Screw" caps, I needed to do a complete cleaning and rebuild, when I removed the "Pilot Screw" I checked each one and they all went in 2 & 1/4 turns.

These are the before and after pictures from removing the "Welsh plugs" and the "Pilot Screw".

I also added a picture with everything removed...

I hope that helps you.

Cheers!!!
