BS34s

Have one carb on my rack that some miserable putz po has done his best to foul up beyond all belief. Can marginally get it in synch with other 3 but marginal is prolly an optimistic word.Does anyone have a set of BS34s in good shape laying around I could purchase from them. I know that Cavan probably has 50 sets but he converts them to boat anchors for his yacht and prolly doesnt want to part with them:laugh: Thanks all.

Mr. Larry, seems a lot of people think you use the old BS34's as some sort of marine stablement system. I find these carbs just proper!! Would you be interested in a swap for the old 28mm 1400 series, photo. Let me know, Clay

if I had a rack laying around Clay, I'd give them to you for free :)

The're OK for some bikes & they can be tuned to work fairly well. But I'll tell you this without hesitation. If you rode two identical Kawasaki's, one setup with BS34 and one with a properly jetted rack of smoothbores, you'd clearly feel the difference in acceleration.

The good CV carb setup would be the Keihin CVK carbs but the rack is all wrong for a KZ. I do have a couple sets of them in a box. One set of 34's and one set of 32's. They've got to be completely gone through.

If you want a rack of them to modify for adaption to KZ, holler. Cover the shipping and you can have them :)

I know a guy that might just have some BS34's laying around too. I'll talk to him later today and see what he has. If he's got a good used set, they're going to need cleaning, etc. Cost will probably be cheap though. I'll PM you with a price if he's got some.

Looks like a rebuild in progress Clay. Nice clean cylinder head with a fresh deck job

Here's what I can come up with. First person that wants them.....they're all yours.

36mm CV Mikuni's off a GS1150 and jetted for that bike. It was one fast MUTHA :) Head was done, cams, etc. Keeping the front wheel on the ground was the hard thing to do

Carbs are $150 as is & I don't want to hear anything about how good or shitty they work on whatever they get put on. I'd just as soon weld them to the anchor chain with the rest of the BS crap but some of you guys just love that junk
