Hello there, I have a 83 KZ650 and I'm thinking of using a good set of VM24's I have, while I rebuild the BS32's that came stock on my bike. The VM24's came off an earlier model 650, but this 650 was moderately modded (much more than my machine right now) and rejetted accordingly

Three questions
With a 4-1 kerker pipe, baffle installed, packing installed, what would be a good start for my jetting (I need pilot, needle, and main jet numbers and clip positions if possible). I was thinking
Pilot - 16
Needle - Stock 3rd position
Main - 100 (because I've heard that 97.5 and 100 where used with this carb w/ stock 650)

Second
Will the stock 83 airbox mount up to the 24's?

Third
What should I do about the throttle cable. What is the minimum I need to hook up the throttle?

Im not much help, but my stock 77 had 97.5 mains and I can go check the other stuff here in a bit. if I remember right, the needle was in the 1st (highest) position. Ill get back to you on it later.
But I would go a bit higher than 100 for the main if 100 was also a stock jet on some models.
