Throttle cable
01 Jun 2010 08:23
I switched the bars off my 82 CSr to drag bars. When you turn the bars the rpm's spike.Seems the extra length is causing problems.i switched my old 750 twin to drags with no problem.I need a cable 29-32 inches long but the only two I can find in shorter lengths are 25 in and 40 in.Any source for a 29-32in or someone to custom make one? Thanks.

I think I have read about MotionPro making custom cables. Could try there.

Yep.
Z1Enterprises.com has MotionPro cables in various lengths, but it may take some looking to find one that fits your needs: trying to find one by length doesn't seem to work. Search there for throttle cable.
