Ive got this zephyr 550 for 350 bucks.
Thinking Ive done plenty of carb work on my kz, I can figure this thing out.
The air box had two pieces of foam held by silicon to work as an air filter. So I took the air box out and plan on re-jett

I have a 1990 Zephyr 550 and recently went through the carbs. If you have any questions, let me know.

Clean it up and stick with the airbox/snorkel combo.
If you put pods on that bike, it will have terrible low/mid range hesitation. No power!

Better to use a high flow/K&N oem filter replacement, and re-jet then. Much better over all.

Unless your just going to use it on a tight twisty track!

Probly not...

Good luck!
