KZ 440 Carbs

Greetings and salutations,

I am laying myself at the mercy of the experts. I have a 81 kz440 project that I am trying to get back onto the road. I am planning to run a single carb on this project, but I am unsure what style to run. I wanted to use a Mikuni and the smaller the better. Anyone that can give me some guidance on size/jets/needle shims or anything that may be helpful.

Good luck my friend.

I don't recommend that configuration personally. As different cylinders have different requirements all throughout the throttle/rpm range, and you wont achieve great performance unless you use individual carbs.

You can run a single carb configuration if you must... but why?
I would think that one of the origional carbs with its origional jetting will be fine.
